Remembering 2019: As A Project Coordinator

On 28 September 2019, as a CII employee and coordinator of the Members' Meet, I had the opportunity to hear from one of the most prominent business leaders in India on various issues related to economic growth and development and opportunity Shri T.V. Narendran Sir, The then Vice President of the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) and Chairman of the CII National Membership Council.

Narendran Sir’s vision and leadership were highly inspiring, and his insights on promoting innovation, enhancing competitiveness, and accelerating economic growth in India were highly valuable.

The session was attended by industry leaders, policymakers, and experts from various sectors, making it a highly enriching experience and witnessing first-hand the impact of CII's initiatives on India's economic growth and development.

The session covered a wide range of topics, including industrial growth, infrastructure development, and sustainability, among others. We had the opportunity to discuss the challenges and opportunities facing Uttar Pradesh and India as a whole, and strategies for promoting investment, entrepreneurship, and job creation in the region.

The focus on technology and innovation was particularly relevant and forward-thinking, with discussions on digital transformation, artificial intelligence, and the Internet of Things. The session highlighted the need for collaboration between industry, academia, and government to leverage India's potential as a global leader in innovation and technology.

As a CII employee, I felt proud to be a part of an organization that is working towards creating an environment conducive to the development of the Indian industry. The Members' Meet with T.V. Narendran sir was a testament to the impact of CII's initiatives on India's economic growth and development. It was a privilege to attend such an insightful and thought-provoking session.
